Running Club
Starting September 16th, running club will be running laps on the field. Laps will be recorded with end of year prizes available. If you would like to participate, reach out to Deborah Mason

ECO ARTS KIDS – Winter Art
10 classes – $250, includes all materials
Dive into nature-inspired art — think painted forest trees, intricate snowflake collages, and charming animal drawings. Every artist gets their very own art journal to fill with their creations and keep forever! we’re also collaborating with a local environmental organization to showcase repurposed art at a community event. It’s a chance for kids to be proud of their work and make a difference in their community. Lets make this winder a season of creativity, community, and unforgettable creations.

Prime Time
The PrimeTime program is a collaboration among San Diego Unified School District Extended Learning Opportunities staff, PrimeTime Partner organizations, and other SDUSD departments and programs. The PrimeTime Extended Day Program, provides elementary and middle school students with a fun and engaging learning environment during the hours most parents/guardians are working. Parents/guardians can feel comfortable knowing their child(ren) is receiving academic support, fun enrichment activities and interacting with peers in a physically and emotionally safe environment.

OpenMinds
This program serves students aged Tk – 8th grade. We are located in rooms 1 & 2 on the Language Academy campus and we play in the kindergarten (green) playground, at the wall ball court, the blue playground, and on the blacktop play yard. Before school programing runs from 7am-8:50am Monday through Friday. After school programing runs 3:15pm – 6:00pm Monday – Wednesday and Friday. On Thursday we run from 12:30pm -6:00pm.

Kidz Edition
Kidz Edition offers fun and exciting dance classes weekly at your child’s school and other San Diego locations. We provide age-appropriate music, fun choreography, and an action-packed class! They will build their memory, concentration, coordination, creativity, and self-confidence – all in a positive atmosphere! Search for Language Academy.

Spectacular Science Club
The Science Guys of San Diego offer FUN, hands-on children’s science programs, including science camps, parties, after-school clubs, workshops, in-school field trips & assemblies, festivals, and special event shows throughout the San Diego area!

Mejorando Mi Español: After School Program
We are happy to announce the Spanish After School Program called Mejorando Mi Español. This after school program offers structured lessons in vocabulary, conversational Spanish, songs, games, reading and writing. Homework help will be given upon request. This program is open to students in grade K-5. Snacks will be provided.
This program will be directed and led by Sra. Graciela Lemus and Sra. Adaia Ortiz. BOTH adults will be present to lead the program at the M-F sessions. Open to a maximum of 16 students per session.

Español y Tarea (E.Y.T)
We are happy to announce the Spanish After School Program called Español y Tarea (E.Y.T.). This after school program offers help with homework, math, science, reading and writing, with a focus in Spanish Language Skills and is open to students in grades K-8.
It Includes a structural play time with snack time immediately following (snacks provided). The program will be directed by two of our Language Academy teachers, Señora Bojórquez and Señora González, both experienced in Spanish Immersion Instruction.

The LAC Goals
(This is a French homework support center and not a licensed childcare program)
• To provide support for homework, reading and writing in French.

German Soccer Academy
Founded in 2005 by professional player and coach Craig Hyde (Craig was the first US American to have coached at the professional level in Germany), the German Soccer Academy offers fun and challenging year-round soccer camps, after-school soccer programs and Sunday 3v3 & Shooting clinics (see information below) for kids ages 5 through 13.

Heartlight
Founded in 1985, Heartlight offers students an opportunity to participate in a non-competitive fitness activity, where the emphasis is on FUN and individual achievement. Heartlight’s mission is to teach children a lifelong love of movement, dance, and fitness. At Heartlight, we are energized by exercise!
Students in Heartlight learn jazz, hip hop, and aerobic dance routines while listening to their favorite music. Our program is designed for children of all levels of fitness and dance ability, grades TK-6. Heartlight classes are held after school, on campus, and require no special uniforms or equipment.
